Introduction to Chakra Healing Retreat in Goa
If you’re new to the world of chakra healing, a good place to start is by learning more about what chakras are and how they work. A chakra is an energy point in your body that acts as a filter for life force energy. There are seven main chakras located throughout the body: three in the lower body (root, solar plexus, heart) and four in the upper body (throat, third eye/brow, and crown). When these energy centres are blocked or out of balance, it can cause physical and emotional symptoms such as fatigue or anxiety.
To open up your seven major chakras and allow more positive energy flow through them—and thus improve both mental and physical health—you’ll need to engage in some kind of ritual or meditation practice that focuses on bringing each centre back into alignment with its corresponding colour: red (root), orange (solar plexus), yellow/green (heart), blue/indigo/violet (third eye/brow), white/silver (crown).

All about the 7 Chakras
Chakras are energy centres in the body that correspond to different physical, mental and emotional aspects of your being. They’re often depicted as spinning wheels of light, but there’s no need to visualize them as anything other than a sensation when you meditate on them—which is something you can do for just about any chakra, even if you don’t know exactly where it is.
What are the 7 main Chakras?
- Root Chakra (Muladhara) — Located at the base of your spine, this chakra governs our sense of security and connection with others; it helps us feel grounded and safe in our bodies and also allows us to take care of ourselves properly. 2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhistana) — This centre is located between your pubic bone and navel; it governs creativity, sexuality and relationships with those closest to us; its energy encourages compassion toward others while helping us remain flexible and open-minded in our communications with them. 3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) — This one’s located near the stomach area; its power allows us balance our emotions while maintaining a healthy self-esteem so that we’re able to maintain good self-confidence without becoming arrogant or self-destructive towards others…

Hands-on Healing
- How healing works:
You probably know that a doctor cures your illness, but what about your inner peace? Healing is the process of bringing balance to the body and mind. Our chakras are energy centres in our bodies where we store thoughts, emotions and experiences from our past lives. These blockages manifest as physical illnesses such as arthritis or depression. Bodywork like Reiki and yoga can help clear these blockages so that we can feel more balanced within ourselves—and ultimately be happier! The best way to clear a chakra is by talking with someone who knows how it works—which brings us back around to me!
- What you need to know about healing:
When you go on this retreat you will learn how to heal yourself using Reiki energy healing along with other tools such as crystals and aromatherapy oils (you’ll even get some homeopathic remedies). You don’t need any previous experience of any sort—just bring an open heart & mind 🙂 We also practice meditation together at least once during each session so I highly recommend taking time out each day for sitting quietly by yourself – if possible try doing this outdoors where there aren’t many distractions 🙂

Your Journey with the 7 Chakras
Chakras are energy centres within us. They are located in the subtle body, which is our physical body and its aura combined. Chakras work like a motor in our bodies, helping to keep everything running smoothly. If there is too much or too little activity at a particular chakra, illness can occur.
The seven main chakras connect you with your higher self and the divine source of all creation. When they’re balanced and functioning properly, you feel good overall; when they’re not, it feels like something’s missing somewhere inside yourself—you might even get sick!
Each chakra has its own colour associated with it (you know those rainbow coloured bracelets we used to wear as kids?). These colours help activate that energy centre so that it can run smoothly again—but what if you don’t have access to those coloured bracelets? Don’t worry! We have gotcha covered: You will learn how each colour corresponds to one of these seven energy centres so that even without any bracelets around your wrist or neckline…you can still tap into their healing properties through meditation exercises during this retreat week!
Bhastrika
Bhastrika is a powerful breathing exercise that helps in purifying the nadis (subtle energy channels) and awakening the kundalini energy. It is also known as Breath of Fire or Bellows Breath.
It is one of the best yoga exercises for cleansing, energizing and rejuvenating your body.
Bhastrika means “bellows” in Sanskrit. In this exercise, you inhale and exhale rapidly through both nostrils at a very fast pace while your chest remains still, creating a pumping effect similar to that created by blowing into an old fashioned blacksmiths’ bellows. This rapid breathing cause’s movement in all of your vital organs inside your body including heart, lungs, diaphragm and stomach muscles which help them function well.
Kapalbhati
Kapalbhati is a powerful cleansing technique that helps in detoxification of the body. It improves the functioning of all organs and gets rid of toxic substances from the body. This will help you to maintain a good health, improve digestion and lose weight faster than usual methods.
Kapalbhati breathing exercise is performed by forcefully exhaling through nostrils while contracting your stomach muscles intensely while inhaling slowly through mouth (breathing in counts as 1). Perform this 7 times slowly with pauses between each exhalation, then increase speed gradually until you reach 16 seconds per cycle with no breaks between breaths (1).
Pranayama
Pranayama is a powerful practice that can help you to transform your mind and body. Pranayama, which means “breathe control,” is one of the eight limbs of yoga. It has been used for thousands of years as a way to regulate the breath, increase energy, reduce stress, balance emotions and rejuvenate the body.
It involves rhythmic breathing with specific ratios between inhalation and exhalation. Each ratio has its own purpose: A slow ratio promotes relaxation; a rapid ratio increases energy; an equal ratio balances internal
energies within the body.

Advanced Pranayama
Pranayama is a technique that helps you control the breath and energy. It helps in balancing the prana or life force energy within our body, so that we can take control of it. Pranayama is also called as kriya yoga by its practitioners.
In this retreat, you will learn about different types of pranayama and how to practice them. You will also learn about various breathing techniques for various situations like stress management, depression, anxiety etc., using yogic techniques like diaphragmatic breathing and simple deep breathing techniques.

Breathing with Awareness
Breathing with awareness is a practice that involves consciously breathing in and out. It’s a great way to calm your mind and body, and it can help you relax and focus on what you’re doing.
The first step is to find a comfortable position where you are able to sit cross-legged or kneeling with your back straight. You can also lie down if this works better for you, either on the floor or on an inflatable yoga mat (which I highly recommend). Make sure there’s enough space around you so that any movements won’t disturb those around you too much!
Once settled, take several deep breaths through the nose and slowly exhale through the mouth for about three seconds each time. This helps us release all our tension from our bodies which helps us release stress from our lives too!

Reenergized Breathing Exercises!
You’ll be able to take your breath, and yourself, to new heights. These breathing exercises are so energizing that they’re often followed by a round of applause! The best part is, they’re easy enough for anyone to do:

- Kapalbhati (aka ‘skull shining’)
- Pranayama (aka ‘breath control’)
In this Chakra Healing Retreat in Goa you will learn the art of reenergising yourself, your body and mind using healing techniques while also awakening your chakras.
What is Chakra Healing?
Chakra healing is a meditative practice that involves using your hands to manipulate the vibrational energy of your chakras for healing purposes. The word ‘chakra’ comes from the Sanskrit word for wheel or circle, and these seven energy centres are believed to be located in the body to regulate various aspects of our health and spiritual wellbeing. In this retreat you will learn how to open them up and activate them with ease, allowing you to heal yourself physically, emotionally or spiritually as well as help others do so too!
